The Gurgler is a popular top water fly that creates just the right ammount of turbulance to attract attention without scarying off wary fish. 

 This fly was originally designed by Jack Gartside and featured a foam body, palmered hackles, and bucktail tail. There are now many variations on this original design but all feature the tell-tale foam lip.

 This fly is great for snook and trout when the conditions call for a topwater fly.
